New Year’s Eve soba

ASTRO-H is spending its final year on the ground in Tanegashima and for New Year’s Eve it had as companions many team members. It is a tradition that for New Year’s Eve soba is eaten, and at the place where everyone was lodging the soba comes with plenty of chicken, which is a local specialty. Thanks to the distinctive style of Kagoshima sweet soy sauce used in the dish, it had a faintly sweet aroma.
